The Modern Matchmaker is partnering with 23rd and Vine to bring you a truly unique event this Valentine’s Day! Our virtual wine tasting for professional singles brings together the intricacies of world-class wine to enjoy from the comfort of your own home and dating tips from professional matchmakers with over 25 years of experience.
The virtual tasting will be led by local Pittsburgh sommelier Michel Mincin, founder of Allora Wine Group. The event program includes:
- Guided, virtual wine tasting
- Learn the “dos and don’ts” when it comes to pairing wine with your favorite foods
- How to properly order wine at a restaurant that’ll be sure to impress your date
- Comical vignettes showcasing common first date mistakes
- Tom Michael, founder of Larrimor’s, Pittsburgh's premier destination for men’s and women's contemporary and designer clothing, will share his top style tips for professional singles
Upon registration, you’ll have your choice of one, two, or three select bottles of wine that will be delivered to your home for the virtual tasting along with your own tasting sheet. Wine choices include:
